It reminds us of the imaginatively titled ‘Suzuki Concepts’ GSX-R/4 (pictured above) from Gran Turismo 4 but reinterpreted for the modern age. The diminutive open-top sportscar features a front-mid-mounted Suzuki Hayabusa motorcycle engine that revs to 9,700rpm mated to three electric motors for the craziest hybrid drivetrain in automotive culture. Approximations of a Corvette or a Ferrari were wide of the mark, as a new Vision Gran Turismo concept from Suzuki is the answer. The Gran Turismo fraternity has been speculating all week as to the identity of a mystery roadster. The 2021-specification Hypercar, winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the FIA World Endurance Championship last season in all its electrified Gr.1 glory.
